The Market Shop and the making place

We have a making place in our classroom where we can make things out of boxes and paper and glue and we can use scissors and staples and cellotape.  We love making things!

Sketching a peacock feather

Shelley was sitting drawing in her sketch book a peacock feather, one by one we slowly came to her to see what she was up to.  We saw her sketching and joined in.

A peacock feather is very delicate did you know...

Getting all the ingredients ready for making our soap...

Adding Milk...

Adding milk powder and water...

Mixing, mixing, mixing...
 Everyone had a turn mixing...

Ahhhhhhh, look at the colour we made!  It's terribly GREEN!
We all made a soap to take home and had some to spare.  We have decided to share our soap with other students in the school by putting it on the wash basins so everyone can see how silky and smooth it is.

We like caring for each other and keeping super squeaky clean!
