Operetta 2014

We are lining up at the hall ready to go on for our Dress Rehearsal...It's very exciting!

We have to listen carefully to the music from Room 10's performance so we know when to go on stage.

We are on the stage singing our kiwibird song.

 Rooms 3 & 4 raised money for the kiwi and kakapo as part of our inquiry.

We raised money for the kiwi.  Here is our coin trail.  We raised $44 dollars that we will split between the Kiwi and the Kakapo.
Thank you to you all for bringing coins in for our money trail.

Room 3 kiwi birds

 We loved these kiwi bird pictures so much that we wanted to put them on our blog. The two drawings are from Room 2.

Getting ready for the Operetta next week, trying on our costumes and masks to make sure they fit.

It's too exciting...

We are having a coin trail on Thursday 11th September to raise money toward a trap to protect the kiwi from predators.

Cute little ducklings come visiting

We looked out our window in Room 3 and saw something too exciting!!!

12 tiny ducklings!

We ran out of our room to take a closer look however we didn't want to get too close otherwise we might scare them.

The ducklings legs were running really fast trying to keep up with their mum.

We think they will stop for a swim in a puddle...

Wouldn't it be funny if the ducklings walked into Room 3...we would love that!  They are so cute.

Busy Kiwi's and Kakapo's

 We have been extremely busy getting ready for our Operetta...

Rooms 3 and 4 have been making masks ready for our performances in Week 9...

 We have learnt that we need to protect the kiwi and kakapo from predators...

Here is the stage, we are getting used to going on and off the stage, it's very exciting!
