Activity 1: Bugs, Bugs, Bugs…
Rhonda shared this great activity with me...
Bug Hunt
Going on a Bug Hunt!
Today's challenge is to go on a bug hunt.
Go outside and have a think where you might find a bug.
What kind of bug do you think you might find - a spider, a cricket,
a praying mantis?
When you have found a bug, draw your best quality work picture of it.
Then record yourself telling me all the cool things about your bug -
How many legs does it have?
What colour is it?
How many eyes does it have?
What do you think it eats?
I can't wait to see your bugs, I'm going to try and find one too!

Activity 2: Rats, By Gavin Bishop
Listen to the story ‘Rats’, by Gavin Bishop…
Retell the story to someone in your bubble…
I really like the illustrations in this story.
My favourite part is when the illustrator (person who
did the pictures) draws the rats hiding in places,
a bit like an ‘I Spy’ book…
Can you draw a picture of the rats hiding in all sorts of places
in your picture...
