Looking at the shapes in front of us, can you look
around your house and see some of the shapes in your
house? Here is a toaster.

Activity 3: I have been collecting the most beautiful Autumn leaves when I go for a walk around
my neighbourhood. Can you find any autumn leaves in your back garden or pavement? I wonder if you can get a piece of paper and draw a leaf, look carefully at the detail… The lines and thickness of the lines. Here is a song you could listen too: The Seasons song |

You’ll need a pencil and paper and a ruler or something
straight to rule a line. Look at the picture, what do you see?
Where is this lego superhero flying too?
What are his adventures going to be? Remember how we wrote a story last week. Remember a capital letter, spaces, and a full stop.

Paper planes and measurement
Make a paper plane (click video) and fly it as far as
you can. Measure the distance your plane flew-
How many steps long is it?
How many giant steps long?
How many body lengths long?
How else could you measure it?

Collections
Make a collection of something you can find at home eg. leaves, buttons, coins,
lego, teddies.
Count how many things you collected?
How can you sort your collection?
Size, shape, colour, type?
You could take a photo of your collection and send it to me so I can see how
busy you’ve been. |

about your favourite character. |
Activity 5: Kindness activity:
Think about something in your household that you could help with.
It could be putting some dishes away. It might be tidying your room and folding your clothes. You don’t need to write anything down, but let me know if you’d like to share with me what you did to help today. And good on you for being kind! Keep it up! |
